​Forrest began his Electrical career over 30 years ago in his hometown of Charleston, SC. His passion for custom homes was highlighted during his time working closely with builders and homeowners on Kiawah Island, Daniel Island, and the Mount Pleasant area where his reputation for trustworthiness, exceptional customer service, reliability, creativity, and overall professional distinction quickly preceded him.

In addition, he has proudly apprenticed many young helpers throughout his career, placing an emphasis on safety, work ethic, and demonstrating excellence on every project. 

With the mountains calling, Forrest moved his family to the Foothills of WNC nearly 10 years ago where he maintains the same professional attributes today.

​We are honored to have Sebastian, a NC/SC Licensed Electrician on our team. His wisdom reaches far beyond his age and his passion for the trade are consistently evident in his craftsmanship. He studies electrical codes and published journals, as well as the fascinating history and evolution of electricity that we know today.

Sebastian has been an integral part of our team for over 4 years, and consistently brings creative ideas, critical thinking, directness, stellar work ethic, and a disposition of altruism and kindness. He is a true Patriot and stands firm in his Christian faith.

In his spare time, he enjoys training for his next marathon, hitting the gym, or heading to OBX for a weekend of Scuba diving, surfing, and fishing. The only thing he is more passionate about than the electrical business is his love of the ocean and marine life. It is his long term goal is to operate a division of HWS on the NC coast.​

Gabe has been working with HWS full time for nearly 4 years. In that time, he has gained tremendous knowledge and continuously strives daily to perfect his craft. Truly a natural, one of his best qualities is his ability to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical issues with ease.

He consistently brings to the team vision, excellent customer service, exceptional work ethic, physical strength, and flawlessly timed comedic relief. He is an absolute pleasure to be around and truly loves to see a job come to completion.

In addition to being an awesome electrician, he is also a talented musician, gym rat, Brazilan Ju Jitsu and Kickboxing competitor, coffee connoisseur, creative chef, and avid reader. We are so thankful to have Gabe on the HWS team!

Rhonda has been with HWS since its very beginning and has taken great pride in watching the business grow and evolve. She oversees all administrative operations, including scheduling, project management, accounting, and tax coordination—ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and efficiently.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling with a concentration in Corrections and addictions. With a lengthy background in the medical field, her attention to detail has served the team well, ensuring that nothing is missed and communication between homeowner and crew is seamless.

When she’s not keeping HWS on track, Rhonda can be found at the gym, tending her vegetable garden, or diving into the practical skills and traditions of Depression-era homesteading.

Brody recently joined the HWS team and quickly claimed his role as top project overseer. With a truly paws-on leadership style and a watchful eye on every moving part, and helps keep morale high and projects running smoothly from start to finish. His steady presence and tail-wagging enthusiasm make him a favorite with the whole crew.

When he’s not supervising the job site, Brody can be found chasing birds, launching after frisbees, or taking one of the humans for a long walk.
